What to do for my blog’s anniversary has been in the back of my head for the past few weeks. I first thought, maybe I should make my text a little smaller. Soon after I said, I think I should change the color scheme… and the logo too. You know what happened next- all of these ideas kept piling on top of each other. It was definitely time for a new blog design, and Patricia Alix-Villa of Fancy Girl Designs took care of it. Thank you so much Patricia! I hope you all like Absolutely Savvy’s makeover.
I’m not ending this post just yet though. I thought it would be nice to tell you a little bit about some friends of mine who are bloggers as well. Two years ago, I thought there weren’t enough teen bloggers out there but now, we’re a whole bunch. Watch out everyone, we’re the game changers (1/2 jk). Here it goes.
I met Ysabel Vitangcol (ate Yvi) through figure skating and she’s like a big sister to me. Pleasantly chic is a lifestyle blog which includes food, fashion, travel and the like. What I love is that she writes so effortlessly, making every single entry entertaining. Not to mention her fabulous voice I always hear when I go on her site!
Emee’s bubbly personality shines right through her blog. I’m subscribed to her and every time I get an email, I click on it right away. You can see what she’s up to- fashion shows, book signings, ice-skating competitions and a lot more. Btw, recognize Emee from Style Lab?
Princess Tan is a lifestyle blogger but mainly talks about fashion and DIY’s. What I love about her is that she posts every single week (every saturday night to be exact) which is something I always look forward to. I’v recently done a collaboration with her, and will post it real soon. Checkout the first part here.
The only male blogger I knew was David Guison until my childhood best friend, Nico made one. And no, it is not a fashion blog. His tagline seeking my great perhaps is just what his blog is all about. We’re teenagers, I guess we’re all trying to find ourselves. His blog is full of random topics that I can certainly relate to.
Alexa is my school friend who made her blog almost two months ago (finally!) It’s one of those blogs that make you laugh and go omg YES. She’s an amazing writer and a very OC person indeed- just look at her instagram feed and you’ll understand.
I think Ysabela Narvasa has appeared on my blog long enough for you to know that she’s my aunt. I attached her tumblr site because one, she re-blogs interesting pictures and two, I don’t really know any other tumblr account. lol.
And thats it. Two years ago, I was a tiny girl making grammatical errors in every single blog entry. Now, I am still a tiny girl making grammatical errors in every single blog entry. #oops. But, I learnt that dedication is the most important thing in everything you do. Honestly, at one point I felt that blogging was homework. But it has literally become my stress-reliever. My goal is to blog once a week, which seems pretty achievable. Hope you liked today’s post. Its christmas break soon so two weeks and I’ll be bombarding you with entries.
