Amazing Race continued… So, to recap after 4 days in Cebu, 1 day to pack and unpack, 5 days in Puerto Galera, we had less than 24 hours and we were off to a 6 hour drive up to Baguio, AGAIN! Like I mentioned in the past, I love Baguio. I get to wear outfits, shoes and accessories that I normally don’t wear in Manila, like UGGs! Anyways, it was cool in Baguio but not cold, wearing shorts was just fine. Here are some of the outfits I wore.
We were 35 altogether. My great-grandmother wanted to spend time with the family so most of us went. As usually, we stayed at the Baguio Country Club, we went horseback riding at Camp John Hay, shopping at Mines View Park and Good Shepherd and ate at Forest House Cafe.
The highlight of this trip happened in Trinidad Valley, Benguet Province. Strawberries are in season now, everyone went strawberry picking at the strawberry farm. It was really hot that day but we managed to pick 3 kilos.
It was a short stay but 6 hours of driving is worth it especially when you’re with family.
Pitstop – Lady of Manaoag
The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag is just 1 and 1/2 hours away from Baguio. It was definitely on the way. So, we took that small detour to say our prayers.
(outside at the church by the candle area, I was not able to take pictures inside with the church)
