Our exciting Bali Trip has reached halfway and the Villavicencio clan were on their way to Nusa Dua, Bali. That’s where all the giant resorts are located including Sofitel. As expected, the place was enormous! There are so many things to do within the resort alone.
The main pool where everyone is allowed to go to is huge and I loved its temperature. Also, for some rooms on the ground floor, there are mini pools rather than balconies.
The room I stayed at was simple and as always, it connected to my parents’ room.
Straight after settling down in Sofitel, we made our way to Jimbaran Bay, which is one of the best beaches in Bali (but the beaches in the Philippines are still better!) We went there only to have dinner and enjoy the sunset. My cousins and I loved playing by the beach. Surprisingly, the waves were really strong so we weren’t allowed to swim.Meet the cousins! For our last two days in Bali, we were able to get the Presidential Villa (Villa 1). I remember it having four bedrooms, a dining room, a living room, a veranda, a kitchen and a swimming pool. The beach was right in front of us and we had personal butlers too! Those last two days were spent in the villa where we were mainly eating and swimming. There was never a dull moment because I was with my family. Oh and my obsession with Star Wars started there haha!
Villa perks 🙂
By the way, some of the pictures from this post were taken by a drone, my grandpa’s new ‘toy’. My uncle flew it most of the time but my brother and I tried it out too. It’s really cool to have and so fun to fly!
So that’s another two highlights of what we did in our easter break vacation. Watch out for more posts on what activities we did in Nusa Dua!
