I’m pretty sure you know of this world renowned Japanese restaurant. Last year, Nobu has finally shared its signature dishes to Manila at the City Of Dreams. This marks the second time I’ve been there and unsurprisingly, our empty stomachs left the place very, very satisfied. Nobu is on the pricier side so we went there to celebrate a special occasion – Christmas Day my dad’s side of my family. I just wanted to give you a heads up that I’m not exactly the most adventerous person when it comes to food. I don’t eat sushi or sashimi (please don’t kill me). So in this post, I’ll be talking about the food my brothers and I ate. What I love about this restaurant is that their dishes appeal to any age group – whether it’s a simple chicken teriyaki or blue fin tuna, there’s something for everyone.
Nobu Style Pork Taco. MUST TRY. A very simple concept, but so many vibrant flavors in your mouth. My brothers and cousins devoured these tacos like there was no tomorrow.
Beef Kushiyaki. This was our main course. The beef was tender and cooked well but what really dominated the dish was the sauce. That’s all I have to say really. If you’re a beef lover, this is a great one for you.
Beef Tenderloin Toban-Yaki. Another beef option if you’re looking for something that isn’t sweet like the kushiyaki.
And that’s it! Short and sweet. Hopefully I made you hungry because at 10pm, I’m curently craving for one of those pork tacos haha. ‘Till next time!
