FOR SOME ODD REASON I had the opportunity to glam up in gowns – twice for Miss Universe, and once for the La Salle prom. I got a lot of “who made your dress?” questions after posting all three of these on my Instagram. Here’s a bit more on the designing process:
Viktoria Couture and Designs The lady behind this boutique is my tita (auntie), Nancy Vitangcol. She’s been making my ice skating costumes for as long as I can remember. The process was really simple: I gave her the colors, then she came up with the design.
Chris Diaz My gown for the La Salle prom was the first ever dress I had made by Chris Diaz. I had to follow a Grecian theme so he suggested a dark gown with a silver embellished belt. The material literally felt like a blanket- plus points for comfort!
It’s not everyday that you get to be all dolled up in custom made gowns, so i’m grateful for the process. Prom season is still ongoing so if anyone needs designers or inspiration, you’ve come to the right place.
