Hey everyone! Right now I’m at SM aura eating away. Earlier, I ate at magnum Manila for the first time. It’s right next to Ogetsu Hime on the 5th floor. Knowing me, you’ll figure out that I LOVE chocolate. My family even calls me the chocolate monster! So coming to magnum was a real treat.
Let’s start with the famous magnum bars. You go through three simple steps. First you pick your toppings, then your ice cream with a choice of chocolate or vanilla, and finally, pick your coating. I chose crunched oreos and mini marshmallows, vanilla ice cream, milk chocolate coating, and the gold drizzle (by the way it’s white chocolate). I was pretty messy while eating it but don’t get me wrong, it was really good! The great thing about customizing your ice cream bars is that you get to try so many variations. I’ll come back trying something else for sure!
The next dishes I had a taste of were the plated ones where you have to dine in. One of them tasted like chocolate chip cookies hence the name, cookie dough skillet. It’s a dish for the people who aren’t really fond of chocolate. I liked it but the next dessert was the best out of everything I tried. My all time favorite dessert is chocolate soufflé. And for some reason, death by chocolate kind of tasted like it! The flavour is rich and the texture is soft. I really recommend trying that dish if you are a chocolate lover like me. By the way, chocolate fondue is also available but I haven’t tasted it, I was too full!
My first time at magnum Manila was great. I must say that this is another dessert spot I’d love to go to.
