Throwback to spring break when #vvvfambam traveled to Macau, Zhuhai and HongKong. I’ve been to Macau for day trips but never overnight, only knowing The Venetian (an all-suite casino hotel). The hotel is inspired by Venice, hence the name. Inside, the ceiling looks like the sky and there’s a river for gondolas.
Here’s me and my cousin Veeno trying to be Victoria’s Secret angels HAHA.
Instead of staying at The Venetian, we finally went on tour to see more of Macau. Besides all of the casinos, we got to see a temple, museums and try some of the best egg tarts in town.
The A-ma temple is a tourist attraction. We went to see what was inside and my favorite part of the whole place were little notes for long marriage. My mom and dad put one up! By the way, right beside the temple you can buy super yummy egg tarts.
Grand Prix Museum
I’m not a fan of cars but my brothers and dad loved this one. You get to see a ton of race cars and learn about the history of the Grand Prix.
Ruins of St. Paul’s
The ruins of St. Pauls was destroyed by a typhoon in the 19th century. Luckily, we still get to admire a bit of it. It’s huge!
There’s not much to do in Macau but if you think of it, it’s definitely a great place to go to for the day. This was leg one of the vvv trip to China. It’s awesome to be traveling with not only your immediate family but with your cousins, aunts and uncles as well. Guang Dong and Hong Kong are coming up next!
