Can you believe the holiday break is over? It’s now back to our normal, hardworking-like lives. I had so much fun this Christmas break and to end it, our family went on a day trip to Tagaytay. Tagaytay is an hour and a half away from Manila. This destination is normally the first if not one of the first choice people make when thinking of a day trip. In fact, it is quite easy to go to that many drive up just to have a meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you haven’t been to Tagaytay for sometime, you will be surprised with the number of restaurants to choose from, the spas and hotels that grown like mushroom and the traffic that built up, its like you never left the crowded streets of Manila :-).
Although I recommend one to visit Tagaytay City, the reason I like going there is because of Tagaytay Highlands Golf and Country Club. This exclusive, members only club is a perfect destination for families. There are many things to do there for every age group. Golf, horseback riding, swimming, bowling to name a few. However, the most important for me is the fresh cool air that surrounds the place. No smog, No noise, just pure relaxation. (just stay away from the sports center, of course!)

A quick stop at Nuvali before heading home to Manila.
I had a such a relaxing time today, just getting away from the city and spending some time with my family. I am ready to go back to school and work as hard as ever, and I hope everyone is as well.
