First of the month! That time of the year where we get to wear thick sweaters, fuzzy socks and drink hot chocolate around the fireplace. Wait scratch that! The Philippines will always have a tropical Christmas, and I love it that way. Us Filipino’s celebrate Christmas in the start of the first ‘ber’ month almost skipping Halloween, and it lasts as long as February! I remember my teachers finding it bizarre when they heard Christmas songs in malls. But we can’t help it! EVERYONE loves Christmas, well unless you’re a Scrooge or something.

Our decorations are up and there are already a few gifts under our tree. I haven’t started christmas shopping just yet but towards the end of my school term, I’ll be running around trying to find perfect gifts for everyone. Luckily for me, my family in my mom’s side practically live together, which makes things extra merry! See I’m using ‘Christmas terms’! 🙂 I want to make this last month of 2013 count. Time flies so quickly, and I don’t know if it’s going to slow down. So let’s make the most out of it, have you accomplished your New Year’s Resolution yet?
