Recently, this has been my daily routine: wake up, get ready, go to SM aura, go home, get ready for bed and then sleep. Yup I’ve been in aura for how many days now because our family’s new restaurant Ogetsu Hime is soon to open! So sorry I couldn’t get a post up sooner! If not doing errands, I would either be sleeping or bored to death. So what did I do? Read If I Stay 🙂
Only two of my friends read the book. One said it was really nice but sad, and the other said it was okay. I thought it was great! One of my favorite books so far, but like that counts because I don’t read much books at all. Imagine having to choose whether you want to die or not. In this novel, the main character Mia looks at her life. She sees why she wants to die because if she were to stay alive it wouldn’t be the same as her whole family wouldn’t be there. On the other hand she wants to live because there are people and things worth living for and goals that she has almost reached.

After finishing the book, I understood why Gayle Forman describes love to be immortal. A lot of people have cried when reading this, but I’m not one of them. Don’t get me wrong though it’s touching, it’s one of those books that make you think. This was certainly a good read. Out of 5 stars I rate it 4. I even heard that there is going to be a movie based on this story with Chloe Moretz as Mia! I’m definitely keeping my eyes out for the film. Again, everyone who’s into those non-action, realistic fiction books this one is for you.
