I’m surprised we didn’t gain much weight after our 5 days in Paris. If you come to think of it, France is also known for their breakfast baskets and scrumptious pastries. Three food finds for today, not much but you’ll definitely want to try them out. So here’s another round for making your stomachs scream and spoiling your diets! 😉
Before coming to Paris I always thought that the best crepes were in the finest restaurants, but I was wrong! Go to any crêperie along the streets and they all taste absolutely delicious. What have we noticed after this trip? Europeans LOVE nutella. Anyway, we bought ours in a stall near the Eiffel tower. Loved it!*casually eating crepes in front of the Eiffel tower* lol
There’s really nothing bad to say about this next one. Ladurée is known all over the world for their macaroons, but have you been to their restaurants? We went there for breakfast one day and ordered a number of things: chocolate croissants, hot chocolate, bacon and eggs (a classic), Eggs Benedict and french toast. Narrowing it down to the best two dishes, its french toast and Eggs Benedict (just order a side of bacon to go with it). Hands down one of the best breakfast’s I ever had.
Lastly is Fauchon, a restaurant that I personally love probably because almost everything inside is pink! Who doesn’t love that? Haha. For all you foie gras lovers, this one’s for you. I’m not fond of goose or duck liver and stuck with steak which was good but not great. I was just thankful because there was plain risotto! Their desserts are really yummy though, especially the chocolates you can buy in their store. Here’s what we got! And thats it! Paris has so many great food spots and these are three examples out of thousands of foods to try. When you go to Paris be prepared to satisfy your empty stomachs.
