After weeks and weeks I was finally able to have a photo shoot with my good friend Yanna. She first appeared in my blog when we went to Puerto Gallera. Feeling like professionals, we came to our decision and recruited models from our school who we thought were fit to have their pictures taken in the forest. The models were: Misha, Tara, Tia and Alexa. And I think you should agree with me that they are all pretty!
As I said before, my flower crowns would come into use. We used all three of them in our photo shoot. I brought dresses, tops, skirts and shorts to Yanna’s house just like a stylist would normally do. The outfits had to be kept simple in neutral color tones as we were in a forest. It wasn’t so hard to style them as Tara, Alexa and Tia wore their own clothes and Misha wore my little white dress. Everyone borrowed my shoes except Alexa because she’s crazy tall haha :).
In the forest itself, I was surprised to see that there weren’t any ants or insects and I was relieved. I brought my iPad with me to show the pegs that we wanted our models to do. Sometimes they would laugh as the pegs were so serious yet they were lively and joyful. We were able to shoot all the girls real quick as they were naturals! I was surprised how they didn’t mind getting dirt on themselves. Misha was even sick at that time but she was able to pose beautifully.

I know I haven’t written as much as I normally do but this post is all about the photos. After all, ‘A picture paints a thousand words’. Yanna’ definitely has some talent knowing that she hasn’t had any lessons on photography at all. Our models made it very easy to get the job done quick. I had a great time working with all of my friends and I can’t wait for batch 2. These photos just blow me away 🙂
