By the end of our summer holidays I told myself that I would upload blog posts more frequently. Let’s face it, I’m a normal teenager who deals with school work, procrastination, stress and everything else categorized under ‘adolescence’. But hey, I’m not doing as bad as I thought I would. There’s still a lot more of New York that I plan to write about and hopefully, I’ll get them posted real soon.
New York has given me a taste of what college life would be like if my school’s campus (like Parsons) were in the city. Walking 15 blocks to class isn’t what we’re used to but surprisingly, I enjoyed it. Every morning, my cousin, uncle and I would scout for cafes or diners to have breakfast. Writing about this just reminds me of the Nutella hot chocolate found on the same street of our hotel. It’s heaven, no joke 🙂 Luckily, La Maison du Croque Monsieur (a cafe near Parsons) was pretty much empty. You guessed it – I forced my cousin to take some outfit shots. Thanks Veeno! I don’t know if Parsons, or New York in general has motivated me to dress up nicely every day. We all have our lazy shirts and default outfits but like what my mom told me ‘Always dress up like someone is going to take your picture’.
