Knowing that we were going to watch Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Resorts World, I immediately thought of glass shoes and a sky blue dress. Since I don’t own any of those items, here’s what I came up with! What I love is the fact that I can fit in my tita’s dresses. Thank’s for letting me borrow your dress tata Vicky! My shoes are not exactly glass but I guess crystals already give you an idea of my inspiration for this outfit. Is it just me who thinks of what to wear based on what I’m watching? It helps a lot! 🙂

Enough with the outfit. The show itself was incredible! Well, specifically for people who have an interest for the theater. People like my dad? Not so much. I loved this play especially because I watched the movie and knew the songs they were singing. Their voices, the choreography, the stage set, the costumes and the props were spot on. How Cinderella changed to her ball gown in a split second, how there were mini fireworks and how the fairy god mother flew across the stage was magnificent.
Luckily for me, my voice coach, Teacher Perpy knew the mother of the girl who played Cinderella. I had the privilege of going on stage and meeting the actors and actresses. Curious as always, I began to stare at almost everything around me. I wonder what it feels like to perform in a musical, but I’m guessing it’s both tiring and great fun!
Even if you have a busy Christmas break, I highly recommend squeezing in some time to see this well-performed play. Hope you all had a non-stressful weekend! Have a splendid week ahead of you, 10 days ’till Christmas!
