Yet another outing with my favorite (and only) events buddy, Nico and this time we could sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Two days ago we had the privilege of watching Captain America: Civil War at SM Megamall. Thanks to Tita Patty Betita for having us! I am no film critic. My reaction after every single movie i’ve ever watched is “It was good!” Likewise, I thought the same for this one.
I heard somewhere that DC Comics are better than Marvel comics and Marvel movies are better than DC. However, I can’t judge that because (don’t kill me) I don’t think I’ve ever watched a DC movie apart from Batman vs. Superman. But marvel movies have taken the world by storm, and it was the iron man series as well as the avengers that got me hooked. The Civil War was something different. It was the first time i’ve seen most marvel heroes appear in a single film, yet they are forced to take sides. Their fight scene was intense yet a lot funnier than I expected. If you ask me, I’m team antman. Every single thing he said just made me giggle 🙂
I don’t mean to spoil anything but if there’s one thing I must assure you, it’s that no one “important” dies. Team Cap nor Team Iron Man will be disappointed. It was a movie about allies turning on one another, the fine line between protection and betrayal, as well as the true meaning of friendship. By the end of a movie, I finally understood why “United we Stand. Divided We Fall.”
