It is extremely difficult to pull off a multi-themed resort, and Balesin does it effortlessly. It’s normal to say “we’re having breakfast at St. Tropez and going to Bali for lunch.” Guests travel in golf cars, jeepneys or bikes rather than airplanes, and boredom doesn’t exist. The best food is either at Mykonos (Greece), or Costa Del Sol (Spain). This post features only four of the seven places, meaning three days not enough time to explore the entire island. I’ve been hearing so much about Balesin, and it was about time I finally saw it for myself. People say it’s overrated but I say it’s paradise – you just need to look at the right places.
