So here’s a (not so) funny story. Driving back on our ATV’s from the sand boarding area, I fainted. My tip to you guys is to drink water – obviously. I should’ve known that the absence of water and abundance of sand would lead to dehydration. People make mistakes, at least is won’t happen again right?
Anyways, our time in port Stephens ended on a high note when we checked off another tourist-y activity off our list. If you’re worried about driving an ATV, it’s a piece of cake. After all, I out of all people was able to drive one. The sand dunes were beautiful and vast. Sand boarding made me feel like Rey in Episode 7 when she was scavenging for parts to trade at the start of the movie. Happy Starwars day by the way! May the fourth be with you – but enough with the Starwars talk.
There are a few setbacks. For instance, you had to climb back to the top after sliding down. If you can’t tell already, I was struggling. So much for trying to get fit haha 🙂
Everyone should visit sand dunes once in their life because no matter your size, you feel like a kid going down a humongous slide. Also, it’s just really pretty. I mean, look at the view.
