While everybody is enjoying summer, here I am back in school preparing for our end of year exams. However, we were able to have two weeks off for easter break. As always, I went on a trip with the whole Villavicencio clan! (My family on my mom’s side) This time, the 24 of us headed our way to Bali, Indonesia. Our first stop, Seminyak. We settled in at Amadea Resort and Villas.
Now, you’re probably thinking its a huge resort with so much to do! Actually, its not. But I found that it was a really cozy place to stay in. We booked two villas. Each had a number of rooms and a pool. Not bad eh?

There were four bedrooms (five actually): one downstairs where my parents stayed, two upstairs and another one in a separate block. Thats what I really loved about the villas, there were so many rooms and it was easy to get from one place to another. Also, there was an outdoor dining area and family room too.
My brothers and I got a room away from everybody else, the one in the separate block. We thought to ourselves, it was pretty small for being in such a big house. However, the door which we thought led to the bathroom actually led to an even bigger bedroom! And beyond that was our bathroom with a really huge shower. My brothers told everyone, ‘we got the jackpot!’ Two of my cousins actually slept in the bigger bedroom for the second night.
Like most resorts, Amadea had buggies to bring us to our villas. They came in handy when we were tired after going around all day.
For us cousins, we were all allowed to swim. Like me, they’re all energetic! This year, everyone now knows how to swim including the youngest of the cousins. Spending time with them was great 🙂
So theres post one, of my exciting adventure in Bali. Hope you liked it!
